Olivia & Marc : Snug Harbor Wedding :: NYC Cinematography

Out of all of the weddings I have had the pleasure to capture, this one, by far was the most special to me.  My life long friend Marc, a man I consider a brother, got married to one very special woman, Olivia.
We have followed Marc and Olivia’s journey since inception and documented their unique engagement firsthand.  In this elaborate display of love, Marc, the talented owner of Elle Woodworking, handcrafted a beautiful makeup counter for Olivia. This visible demonstration of his adoration for his future bride wasn’t the only surprise. Within one of its’ hand carved drawers lay the question he anxiously waited a long time to ask. It was a fitting and creative approach to “mark” this momentous occasion.
The wedding day festivities took place on October 2nd, 2020 – a crisp, beautiful fall day, in the heart of the foliage season. Hair and Makeup took place at Olivia’s Grandma’s house and was provided by Samantha Hassan and Brittany Calcagno. Marc donned his tux and grooming procedures at his mother’s house, along with his two best buds and Man’s Best Friends, Elle and Temple. The ceremony commenced at St. Charles Church.  Following a heartfelt mass, given by Father Jerome and a reading from Christian, Marc’s nephew, the couple made their way to Snug Harbor for the reception.  John and the Celebrate team at Snug provided an elegantly decorated tent filled with the couple’s immediate family welcomed Olivia and Marc’s very intimate, unique, wedding celebration.  A pandemic couldn’t stop the love brewing on this day and the couple made their union focus on the importance of matrimony-intimacy, love, and unadulterated joy.
It was truly an honor to have not only been a part of this notable day, but to have had the pleasure of forever documenting this day for two very special people in my life. I love you guys!
