Carolyn & Justin : Film Teaser :: NYC Cinematography

On May 10th, 2014, we had the pleasure of filming Carolyn Billeci and Justin Rinon’s wedding. The day started with hair & make-up at House of Trends on Amboy Rd. inStaten Island, New York. Justin and the groomsmen got dressed at The Hilton in Long Island City. Justin and the boys then proceeded to take the train one stop to The Studio Square where the ceremony and reception would take place.

The Studio Square was elegantly decorated and completely out of the ordinary. From the officiant, live harpist pre-ceremony, old fashioned TAXI, Mac n Cheese truck and a “pomeranian named Luna”, there was no doubt that there was a massive amount of planning that Carolyn and Justin had done to perfectly execute their special day. DJ Danny Estrella kicked off the reception, accompanied by The Bandulos. I think everyone was in agreeance that the music was definitely on point that night. Carolyn and Justin selected our one of a kind Open Air Photo Booth. Pictures to follow on this blog post. Also, Carolyn surprised Justin with a special guest DJ appearance from the one and only Cosmo Baker.

All in all it was a perfect day from start to finish and we had a complete blast with these two. Working with Carolyn and Justin was so enjoyable that we had forgot we were working. We felt like we were in the wedding, a family member or long time friend, and the feeling we got after spending a day with these two is exactly why we opened Grasmere Hills Productions.
