Rachel + Jimmy : Wedding Trailer :: NY Cinematography

When it comes to shooting weddings you always feel some sort of connection to the couple. In this case, a new friendship was born. Rachel and Jimmy are two of the most down to earth, fun couples I have ever met. Their wedding was beautiful from start to finish and I frequently had to remind myself that I was working and not part of the actual wedding.

The day started at French Twist in Staten Island New York for hair and make-up as Rachel eagerly prepared to walk down the isle. The salon claims that they have never had any film crew in there before and were a little perplexed as to why we would want to capture the bride prep. We believe that the bride spends so much time and money preparing to look their best for the wedding day, so why not capture it? It is part of the day and it is part of their story.

Jimmy got ready at his place, I must admit, the relationship between him and his father is the same as you with your best friend. They are clearly best friends and the interaction and comedy relief that went on was quit entertaining.
The ceremony took place at Holy Child Parish on Amboy Road. Then it was on to the party bus and off to Valley Regency in Clifton NJ.

The Reception was a nice spacious room beautifully decorated with flowers and candles. The music was provided Dash of Class and the florist was Valley Regency Designs. The guests were high energy and a ton of fun. I love weddings where everyone is up on the dance floor and having a good time.

All in all, it was a perfect day for a perfect couple. Check out their wedding trailer below !
